After studying Visual Merchandising Management at university, I worked for many years as a Visual Merchandiser for high-street retailers, creating beautiful displays of all kinds of products including jewellery, shoes, clothing and camping equipment (indeed, it’s been said that I’m a girl who can even make a tent set-up look dreamy). When I got married in 2013, my passion for styling and eye for detail came in pretty handy. It was through planning and designing my own wedding that I really caught the bug for transforming venues large and small into stunning settings where people can come together to celebrate life’s big milestones. I decided my ‘happily ever after’ (career wise, at least) was to be found in event styling and I vowed to spend my days helping people get married, welcome new babies, celebrate birthdays and generally party in style. And so, Cloud 9 was born.
